Berea, OH (My Sportsbook) - It didn't take long for Eric Mangini to find a new home, as the former New York Jets head coach reached an agreement on Wednesday to lead the Cleveland Browns in the same capacity. Terms of the contract were not released. Mangini led the Jets to a solid 9-7 record and a third-place finish in a tough AFC East division this past season, but a paltry 1-4 mark down the stretch kept New York out of the playoffs and led to his eventual firing just last week. The Browns, meanwhile, struggled mightily throughout the 2008 campaign and finished with a 4-12 record despite lofty preseason expectations. The disappointing campaign led to a change in the front office, as general manager Phil Savage and head coach Romeo Crennel were both shown the door. More to follow...
