(My Sportsbook) - The New Orleans Hornets conclude a tough four-game road trip on Wednesday when they visit Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz.

The Hornets improved to 2-1 on the trek with one of their most impressive wins of the season on Tuesday. David West tied a career-high with 40 points -- scoring 27 in the second half -- as New Orleans snapped the Los Angeles Lakers' 15-game home winning streak with a 116-105 victory at Staples Center.

West added 11 rebounds and Chris Paul notched 32 points and 15 assists for the Hornets, who have won five of six overall and improved to 10-6 on the road. Tyson Chandler, returning from a one-game suspension, chipped in 12 points and eight boards, while Rasual Butler totaled 10 and six.

The Jazz, meanwhile, won the opener of a four-game homestand on Monday when Deron Williams scored 25 points and doled out 15 assists, as Utah edged Golden State, 119-114, at EnergySolutions Arena.

Mehmet Okur added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Jazz, who have beaten Golden State six consecutive times in Salt Lake City and improved to 13-4 as the host this season. Paul Millsap chipped in 19 points and 14 boards for Utah, his 18th straight double-double.

The game will also mark legendary broadcaster "Hot" Rod Hundley's 3,000th call of Jazz basketball. Hundley is currently in his fourth season as the radio voice of the team after 31 years as the play-by-play voice of radio and television simulcasts.

Hundley is the only member of the original New Orleans Jazz staff to remain with the team for all of its 35 seasons. He joined the organization prior its inaugural season in 1974-75 and moved with the team when it relocated to Salt Lake City in 1979-80.

Utah will also face Detroit and Indiana on its residency.

The Jazz have won five of their past six contests with the Hornets and have really dominated the series in Salt Lake City, winning four straight and 12 of the last 15 contests between the two teams in Utah.
