(My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Lakers hope to rebound from their first home loss in six weeks when they travel up the California coast to take on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

David West tied a career-high with 40 points -- scoring 27 in the second half -- as the New Orleans Hornets snapped the Lakers' 15-game home winning streak with a 116-105 victory at Staples Center last night.

Kobe Bryant poured in 39 points and doled out seven assists for the Lakers, who lost for the first time in seven games. Derek Fisher had 19 points and Pau Gasol 10 with eight boards for LA, which suffered only its second home loss of the season and first since losing to Detroit, 106-95, on November 14.

Lakers forward Lamar Odom hyper-extended his right knee during the second quarter of the loss and did not return. Odom will miss tonight's contest and is scheduled to undergo an MRI.

The Warriors, meanwhile, finished up a three-game road trip winless on Monday when Utah's Deron Williams scored 25 points and handed out 15 assists, as the Jazz edged Golden State, 119-114, at EnergySolutions Arena.

Jamal Crawford scored 28 points and dished out six helpers for the Warriors, who have dropped four of five overall. Corey Maggette, who missed the previous 15 games with a hamstring problem, returned to drop 23 points. Andris Biedrins logged 14 points and 17 rebounds in defeat, his fourth consecutive double- double.

The Lakers, who are 9-4 as the visitor this season, have won two straight over Golden State, including a 130-113 rout in Hollywood earlier this season. The Warriors are 6-7 at ORACLE Arena this season.
