East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is expected to practice today in hopes of being ready for Sunday's NFC divisional playoff matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jacobs has missed two of the last three games due to a knee injury. "We're going to have three hard practices," said Giants coach Tom Coughlin. "I'm hoping that puts him in good stead. He feels pretty good." Jacobs (1,089) and Derrick Ward (1,025) finished as the first pair of backs in the NFL since 1985 to go over 1,000 yards rushing in the same season. Jacobs averaged five yards a carry for a second consecutive year. Jacobs was hurt in a November 16 game against Baltimore and sat out the following week's contest against Arizona and missed three of the team's final six regular season games.
