Memphis, TN (My Sportsbook) - The Memphis Grizzlies waived Darius Miles on Wednesday, nearly a month after signing the free agent forward. The third-overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, Miles played six NBA seasons (2000-06) with the Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers. He missed all of 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons while recovering from microfracture surgery on his right knee. The 27-year-old signed as a free agent with Boston this past August, but was waived before the season began. He played in two games with the Grizzlies for a total of nine minutes after serving a 10-game suspension for violating the league's drug policy. That ban ended following Memphis' January 2 encounter with San Antonio.
