Columbus, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled center Nikita Filatov from the American Hockey League on Wednesday. Filatov was the team's first-round pick in 2008, as the Russian was taken sixth overall. He had previously appeared in four games with the Blue Jackets this season and netted the first and only goal of his career so far on October 17 versus Nashville. Filatov joins Columbus after leading Team Russia to a bronze medal finish at the 2009 World Junior Championship. Serving as the club's captain, the 18- year-old had eight goals and three assists in seven games at the tournament. In 23 games this year with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, Filatov has seven goals and 10 assists.
