(My Sportsbook) - The
New York Knicks try to build off their biggest win of the season this evening when they open a four-game road trip against the woeful Oklahoma City Thunder at the Ford Center.
On Sunday, New York got a career-high 31 points from Wilson Chandler and 30 from Al Harrington, as the Knicks snapped an eight-game losing streak against Boston with a surprising 100-88 victory over the Celtics.
The Knicks came in losers of seven of their last eight overall games but held Boston to 40.5 percent shooting from the field. David Lee logged 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Chris Duhon chipped in 12 points and five assists in the win.
New York will be starting a four-game road trip tonight that will also include stops in Dallas, Houston and New Orleans. The Knicks are 5-11 away from home this season.
The Knicks may also have center Eddy Curry back tonight. Head coach Mike D'Antoni said Curry, who has yet to play this season because of a knee injury, should be ready to go at some point on this trip.
Oklahoma City, meanwhile, has lost six of seven after falling in heartbreaking fashion at home to Denver on Friday.
Kevin Durant hit a layup with 28.5 seconds left to cut the Thunder deficit to 119-117, and Oklahoma City regained possession with 5.0 seconds on the clock.
Durant, who finished with 33 points, nine rebounds and five assists, then hit a three-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to give the Thunder a one-point lead, but Carmelo Anthony took the inbounds pass from half court and drained a three- pointer from the corner with a hand in his face to secure the 122-120 win for Denver.
Oklahoma City will be wrapping up a stretch of four straight games at home, where they are just 3-15 this season.
New York defeated the Thunder back on November 14 to snap a three-game losing streak in the series.
