(My Sportsbook) - The Atlanta Hawks will aim for a season high seven straight wins when they close out a short two-game road trip Friday against the New Jersey Nets at the IZOD Center. The Hawks have won six straight and kept the streak intact with a 110-104 victory at Indiana on Tuesday. Joe Johnson tallied 12 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter and also added seven rebounds and five assists for Atlanta, which is 7-8 away from home this season. Josh Smith pumped in 24 points, while Al Horford contributed a 12-point, 14- rebound effort for the Hawks. Mike Bibby ended with 15 points and six assists in the winning cause. New Jersey has lost two straight and five of its last seven games, and suffered an 83-75 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Brook Lopez had 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Nets, who will try to stop a four-game home losing streak Friday night. Devin Harris added 19 points and nine assists in the loss. The Nets are 5-12 at home this season. New Jersey is 2-0 against the Hawks this season and has won three straight and nine of 11 against them. Atlanta has dropped four in a row at the Meadowlands.
