Chicago, IL (My Sportsbook) - Houston Astros starting pitcher Andy Pettitte is expected to be activated from the 15-day disabled list and start Tuesday's game against the NL Central-rival Chicago Cubs. Pettitte, who has been on the disabled list twice already this season, was hampered with tightness in his left forearm and a sore elbow. Ironically, Pettitte was injured versus the Cubs in late May and missed five starts because of the setback. He is 4-1 with a 3.38 ERA in his first season with Houston. Pettitte signed a $31.5 million, three-year contract with the Astros in the offseason after nine years with the New York Yankees. The 32-year-old southpaw owns a career mark of 153-79. To make room for Pettitte on the roster, the Astros will most likely option infielder Eric Bruntlett to Triple-A New Orleans of the Pacific Coast League.
