Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - Joe Johnson recorded his second career triple- double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, leading the Atlanta Hawks to a 99-88 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder at Philips Arena.

Marvin Williams added 21 points and seven rebounds for the Hawks, who improved to 5-1 on their season-long eight-game homestand. Josh Smith had 19 points, while Mike Bibby posted 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the victory.

"It feels pretty good," Johnson said of the Hawks being 18-10. "But at the same time, we have to know what's at stake, and we have to know we have a long way to go to reach our goals. So we can't get ahead of ourselves, we just have to stay focused, stay on track."

Kevin Durant shot 10-of-19 from the field for 28 points for the Thunder, who have dropped 10 of 11 to fall to a league-worst 3-26. Chris Wilcox posted 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Jeff Green had 18 points and 14 boards in the loss. Russell Westbrook had 11 points and six assists for Oklahoma City.

"They hit a lot of big shots tonight, and they got a lot of stops," Durant said. "That's why they're a playoff team. Teams make their run, but we can't allow that, and make runs for ourselves. We could have made more shots but we didn't. Johnson made shots when he needed to, and with a triple-double it shows what type of player he is."

Up 69-68 to start the fourth, Atlanta went on a 9-1 run, as Zaza Pachulia put the Hawks up 78-69 after a long outlet pass from Johnson with 8:42 left.

"We're in good shape right now," Williams said. "Guys are working hard, guys are definitely aware of what we have to do here at home. We're just trying to take it one game at a time."

Green's basket with a little over six minutes left pulled the Thunder to within four, but Smith drained a three-pointer with 2 1/2 minutes to go to put the Hawks up seven. Bibby's jumper a minute later put the hosts up nine, and they cruised to victory from there.

"We made it a fourth quarter game," Thunder head coach Scott Brooks said. "We just couldn't get any key stops down the stretch. They were switching and our spacing wasn't as good as it needs to be."

Durant had nine points to lead all players in the first quarter, and the Thunder held a slim 24-23 edge heading into the second.

Wilcox's tip shot just past the midway point of the second gave Oklahoma City a 37-29 lead, but Atlanta answered with an 13-1 run to go up 42-38 on Bibby's jump shot with a little over two minutes left.

The Thunder answered with a 5-0 run to take the lead, but Johnson's three- point play down the stretch gave the Hawks a 45-43 halftime edge.

Westbrook tied the game at 45 to start the third, but Atlanta embarked on a 15-3 spurt to take a 12-point lead on Al Horford's two free throws with 6:43 left in the quarter.

Oklahoma City answered with a 10-0 run to come to within two on a couple free throws by Wilcox. Pachulia's basket in the final seconds of the quarter put the Hawks up by a point after three.
