Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Portuguese defender Antonio Tonel has welcomed reports of a possible January move to Rangers. The 28-year-old Sporting Lisbon defender is rumored to be on Gers boss Walter Smith's new year shopping list. "Sporting Lisbon are a big club and I am very happy here, but Rangers are massive," Tonel told the Evening Times. "I know they have been out to see me on a couple of occasions and have been following me for over a year. That is very flattering for any player.
