(My Sportsbook) - There's good news and bad news right now for the Philadelphia 76ers, who will pay a visit to the Washington Wizards Friday night at the Verizon Center. The good news for the Sixers is that they're 2-0 so far under interim head coach Tony DiLeo. DiLeo took over for the fired Maurice Cheeks on Saturday just hours before beating the Wizards in Philly. DiLeo then guided the 76ers to a 93-88 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday at the Wachovia Center. Now here's the bad news. Sixers offseason acquisition Elton Brand went down with a dislocated right shoulder versus the Bucks and is expected to miss a month of action. Brand's injury will cost the Sixers in their half-court game, but the team could revert back to its running ways that earned the Sixers a playoff berth. Brand is averaging 15.9 points and 9.8 rebounds and signed a five-year, $80 million contract in July. Lou Williams matched a career-high with 25 points in the win over Milwaukee, while Andre Miller added 19 for the Sixers, who will play seven of their next eight games away from the Wachovia Center and are 4-7 as the guest. Rookie Marreese Speights stepped up with 12 points and seven rebounds. Washington will open a quick two-game homestand Friday versus the Sixers and Mavericks, and is 3-10 in the nation's capital this season. The Wizards have dropped four straight and seven of eight, including Wednesday's 88-74 setback to the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Mike James had 16 points and Antawn Jamison added 14 points and 11 boards for Washington, which got 12 points and 11 boards from Andray Blatche. Philadelphia defeated Washington on Saturday and has won three of the last four meetings. The Sixers, though, have lost five in a row in DC.
