Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - The Milwaukee Brewers have signed pitcher Chris Capuano to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Capuano missed all of the 2008 season with a left elbow injury and underwent Tommy John surgery in May. He might not be ready for the start of the 2009 campaign. The 30-year-old lefty was 5-12 with a 5.10 earned run average in 2007, losing each of his last 12 decisions. He has pitched for Milwaukee since 2004 after one season in Arizona, and owns a career record of 42-48 with a 4.39 ERA.
