Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with outfielder Willie Harris on a two-year contract Friday. Harris, 30, batted .251 with a career-high 13 home runs and 43 RBI in a team- best 140 games for the Nationals last year. In other news, Washington senior vice president and general manager Jim Bowden announced Friday that the club will not tender a contract to right-handed pitcher Tim Redding for the 2009 campaign. The 30-year-old Redding posted a 10-11 record and a 4.95 earned run average in 33 games last season. However, the Nationals did offer 2009 contracts to third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, outfielder Josh Willingham and pitchers Scott Olsen and Shawn Hill.
