Phoenix, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Shaquille O'Neal continued his resurgent season with a season-high 35-point, eight-rebound effort, and the Phoenix Suns continued their dominance over the Milwaukee Bucks with a 125-110 victory.

O'Neal, who hasn't averaged over 20 points a game since the 2005-06 season with Miami, shot 14-of-19 from the field in Phoenix's 21st straight home win over the Bucks.

"They keep feeding it like that, and you can expect that out of me," O'Neal said. "But sometimes I get those shots and sometimes I don't. We still have to take care of the ball and play good defense."

Amare Stoudemire tallied 22 points and eight rebounds, while Steve Nash had 19 points and 10 assists for the Suns, who have won two in a row after losing four straight. Leandro Barbosa scored 15 points, while Raja Bell had 14 in the win.

"It was a good win for us," Stoudemire said. "We've got to beat the teams that we're supposed to beat. And tonight we came out, played hard from the start, and as a result, got the win."

Charlie Villanueva scored a team-high 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Bucks, who have lost four of six. Michael Redd added 23 points, while Richard Jefferson posted 22 points in the loss. Andrew Bogut had 15 points and 11 rebounds for Milwaukee, which hasn't won in Phoenix since 1987.

"We just couldn't execute offensively, we couldn't get anything going," Redd said. "We were stagnant, and we couldn't get any stops on them, and that was the game. (O'Neal) played great. He was outstanding all night and was dominant for them. He was a big reason why they won tonight."

With the Suns leading by six to start the fourth, Boris Diaw gave Phoenix an eight-point lead early in the fourth, and Villanueva made it a six-point game again on a jumper.

From there, the Suns embarked on a 14-4 run, as O'Neal had six points during the burst. Barbosa's layup with 6:26 left gave Phoenix a 112-96 lead, and the Suns never looked back from there.

Stoudemire scored 11 points in the opening period, and the Suns held a slight 36-35 edge heading into the second quarter.

Phoenix outscored Milwaukee, 38-29, in the second quarter and took a 74-64 advantage to halftime.

The Bucks were able to cut the deficit to six heading into the fourth quarter.

Game Notes

Milwaukee last beat Phoenix on the road at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, a 115-108 win on February 21, 1987...The Suns have beaten the Bucks twice this season and 10 out of the last 11 times...Phoenix shot 58.7 percent (44-of-75) from the field, while the Bucks shot 46.8 percent (44-of-94)...O'Neal came into Tuesday's game averaging 14.3 points and 8.4 rebounds this season...O'Neal won't be with the team for Wednesday's game against the Lakers because of the death of his great-grandmother. He is expected to be back for Friday's game against the Magic.
