Daytona Beach, FL (My Sportsbook) - Stacy Lewis carded a three-under 69 Sunday to win the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament.
Lewis completed the five-round event at 18-under-par 342 to earn medalist honors by three strokes.
Among the 20 graduates was Michelle Wie, who stumbled to a two-over 74 in the final round. However, it was more than enough to earn her tour card at 12- under-par 348, which left her tied for seventh.
Amy Yang, a three-time winner on the Ladies European Tour, took second place at minus-15 after posting a two-under 70 on Sunday. Anna Grzebien fired a seven-under 65 to end alone in third at 14-under-par 346.
Beth Bader (69), Shiho Oyama (71) and Sophie Giquel (69) shared fourth place at 13-under-par 347.
Wie ended alongside Lisa Strom (69) in seventh place at minus-12.
After splitting four rounds on the Legends Course and the Champions Course at LPGA International, the final round was contested on the Champions Course.
Lewis, 23, was an unofficial winner in Arkansas last year as an amateur when the tournament was called off after 18 holes.
The remainder of those who earned their LPGA Tour cards for 2009 included - Mollie Fankhauser, Charlotte Mayorkas, Carolina Llano, Anna Rawson, Jeehae Lee, Anja Monke, Louise Stahle, Jeanne Cho-Hunicke, amateur Mika Miyazato, Ashleigh Simon and Audra Burks.
Among those who missed earning or keeping their playing privileges for next year included Leah Wigger, Sunny Oh, Paige Mackenzie and Carri Wood, who all were inside the top 20 entering the final round.
