Chicago, IL (My Sportsbook) - The White Sox have reportedly traded pitcher Javier Vazquez to the Atlanta Braves for multiple players. According to a report on MLB.com, the 32-year-old is scheduled to undergo a physical Wednesday in Atlanta, and an undisclosed White Sox player will accompany Vazquez to the Braves. Atlanta will send three players to Chicago, all of whom are currently undisclosed. The report states that the Braves provided the White Sox with a list of five players, with Chicago choosing three. Rumored to be on the list are infielder Brent Lillibridge and catching prospect Tyler Flowers, while pitcher Boone Logan is rumored to be the other player the Braves will acquire. Vazquez posted a 12-16 record this season for Chicago with a 4.67 earned run average and 200 strikeouts in 208 1/3 innings. If the trade is completed the Braves will become his fifth team, as Vazquez has pitched for the Expos, Yankees, Diamondbacks and White Sox over his 11 seasons in the major leagues. A Puerto Rico native, Vazquez is under contract until 2010 and will make $11.5 million in each season.
