Barcelona, Spain (My Sportsbook) - Espanyol striker Raul Tamudo has been ruled out of action for the next month after picking up an injury in the weekend defeat to Sporting Gijon. The 31-year-old pulled a muscle in his left leg and is unlikely to play again until next year. The striker has spent the last 12 years with Espanyol, apart from two brief loan spells a decade ago with Alaves and Lleida. He has scored 125 goals in 317 appearances for the club. In better news for Espanyol, Nico Pareja, Rufete and Ivan de la Pena have all been able to return to training and are set to return to action shortly. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
