(My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Lakers have been perfect so far as the visitor this season and will open a three-game road trip tonight against the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse. The Lakers are 5-0 away from home this season and will also visit Philadelphia and Washington on the current road swing. They have won seven in a row overall and improved to 14-1 this season with Sunday's 112-99 victory over the Toronto Raptors at Staples Center, as Pau Gasol led the way with 24 points and Kobe Bryant chipped in 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Andrew Bynum had 18 points and 10 boards for the Lakers, who are off to their best start since a 16-1 beginning back in 2001-02. Indiana's road ahead is a tough one with the Lakers, Celtics, Cavaliers, Raptors and Pistons on the upcoming docket. The Pacers have lost two straight and five of six games, including Saturday's 110-96 setback at Orlando. Danny Granger scored 27 points while Marquis Daniels had 21, Troy Murphy 13 and rookie Roy Hibbert 10 points in defeat. The Pacers are back at home where they have dropped two in a row and own a 4-4 record in 2008-09. Los Angeles went 2-0 against Indiana last season and has won 14 of the last 21 meetings in this series. The Lakers, however, have lost six of nine and nine of their last 13 trips to Conseco Fieldhouse.
