Frisco, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Dallas Stars acquired defenseman Andrew Hutchinson from the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday in exchange for former first-round pick Lauri Tukonen. Hutchinson, 28, was scoreless through two games with the Lightning this season and has played mostly with Norfolk of the AHL -- posting a goal and 13 assists in 20 games. In 97 career games over four seasons with Nashville, Carolina and Tampa Bay, Hutchinson has 10 goals and 23 assists. Hutchinson is expected to join the Stars in time for their game at Calgary on Tuesday. Tukonen, who was selected with the 11th overall pick of the 2004 draft by the Los Angeles Kings, is currently playing for Lukko Rauma in the Finnish Elite League. |
