(My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Lakers will try to close out a perfect five-game homestand tonight versus the Toronto Raptors at Staples Center.

Los Angeles is 4-0 so far on the residency and improved to 8-1 as the host with Friday's hard-fought 114-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Kobe Bryant scored 13 of his season-high 35 points in the fourth quarter and finished 14-of-26 from the field for LA, which went on a 17-0 run bridging the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth.

Andrew Bynum tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Lakers' sixth straight win and Derek Fisher scored 19 points. Los Angeles improved to an NBA-best 13-1 this season and is off to the best start since winning 16 of the first 17 games to begin the 2001-02 campaign. Pau Gasol chipped in 14 points and seven boards versus Dallas.

The Raptors have won two in a row since a two-game slide and recorded a 93-88 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday at Air Canada Centre.

Chris Bosh arrived later than usual to the arena thanks to an elevator issue, but then contributed 30 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead the way. Bosh was allegedly stuck in an elevator inside his condominium building for about an hour and didn't arrive to the arena until about 45 minutes before tip-off. Bosh went 13-of-26 from the floor.

Jason Kapono added 16 points and buried two key foul shots in the final seconds for Toronto. The Raptors, who are 4-3 away from Canada in 2008-09, will open a three-game road trip Sunday against the Lakers, Nuggets and Jazz.

Raptors center Jermaine O'Neal (knee/ankle) is questionable against the Lakers. The first-year Raptor has missed two straight games.

The Lakers went 2-0 against Toronto a year ago and have won five of six and 11 of the last 13 meetings. Toronto has lost six straight and seven of its last eight as the visitor in this series.
