Stillwater, OK (My Sportsbook) - Sam Bradford threw for 370 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing for another score, as third-ranked Oklahoma beat No. 11 Oklahoma State, 61-41, setting the table for the BCS to decide the Big 12 South division champion.
Chris Brown ran for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Sooners (11-1, 7-1 Big 12), who finished in a tie with Texas and Texas Tech in the conference. Either the Longhorns or Sooners will play in the Big 12 championship game.
"We came here tonight and won on the road," said Bradford. "It does nothing but 'up' our place, and there's no reason we shouldn't be in Kansas City. But it's out of our hands now. All we can do is hope."
With Texas Tech's victory earlier Saturday over Baylor, an Oklahoma victory means the Big 12 South division will be decided by Sunday's BCS rankings. The division winner will go on to play Missouri in next Saturday's title game.
Oklahoma entered the week third in the BCS, just behind Texas with unbeaten Alabama having a firm hold on first. It has been widely speculated that Oklahoma could leap over Texas when the new BCS standings are released Sunday due to the win over Oklahoma State. That's because the Cowboys represented a much tougher opponent, despite the Longhorns thrashing Texas A&M, 49-9, on Thanksgiving night. Not only that, but the Sooners have registered at least 60 points in four straight games.
The Sooners' lone loss came to Texas, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on October 11. Since then, they've won six straight games, including a 65-21 rout of Texas Tech last week. The Red Raiders, though, beat Texas, forcing the three- way tiebreaker and the BCS standings to decide the division winner.
Texas Tech was seventh in the BCS and won't make the title game.
Bradford completed 30-of-44 passes and Jermaine Gresham had nine catches for 158 yards and two scores to give Oklahoma its sixth straight win in the Bedlam Series in what proved to be the highest scoring contest in the rivalry's history.
"I was incredibly proud of the way we played," said Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops. "Another game with 60 points, I think that's four in a row for us. Sam Bradford, it's just out of this world, it's just incredible the way he played. You look at our third-down conversions, forth-down conversions, no turnovers, all in all, incredible."
Zac Robinson connected on 17-of-26 passes for 254 yards with three TDs and an interception for the Cowboys (9-3, 5-3), who failed to secure their first undefeated home season since 1984.
The teams combined for 39 fourth-quarter points, started by a Robinson's 17- yard TD pass to Dez Bryant. The two hooked up for the two-point conversion with Bryant leaping in the back of the end zone, 47 seconds into the fourth to get OSU within 37-34.
Bradford's one-yard TD pass to Brody Eldridge moved the Sooners to a 10-point lead, 44-34, less than four minutes later, but Perrish Cox returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a score.
Bradford, playing with an injured left hand, then connected with Juaquin Iglesias on a 17-yard score with 7:17 remaining and Jimmy Stevens connected on a 27-yard field goal with 2:55 remaining.
Robinson then fumbled the ball away and Brown rumbled 28 yards up the middle to the end zone to seal OU's big win.
An early turnover helped give the Sooners a lead. Robinson was picked off by Dominique Franks, and on the ensuing drive DeMarco Murray scored on a 20-yard run.
Dan Bailey kicked a 28-yard field goal later in the first for OSU, and the Cowboys went ahead 10-7 less than two minutes into the second on Robinson's 23-yard TD pass to Kendall Hunter.
Brown's two-yard run put the Sooners back on top before Bailey connected from 44 yards away with 2:57 left in the half. But Bradford led OU on a 14-play, 80-yard drive, finishing it with a three-yard TD pass to Gresham with 13 seconds left in the half for a 21-13 difference.
A huge moment came with 11:12 left in the third quarter after Bryant caught a six-yard TD pass. The Cowboys went for a two-point conversion, but Robinson fumbled and Frank Alexander rumbled the other way for two points for the Sooners and a 23-19 lead.
"Obviously you'd like to not fumble the ball and give them two points. That's one of the mistakes," said OSU coach Mike Gundy. "We fumbled the ball and cost us points on turnovers. Then we threw the interception early. Zac made some great plays. They run well on defense. The margin of error is much smaller when you play teams who are very fast."
Gresham caught a 73-yard TD pass from Bradford less than a minute later. Robinson then scored on a 31-yard run before Bradford plunged in from two yards out with 1:28 remaining in the third for a 37-26 OU lead. Just before that score, Bradford went airborne and was spun out of bound like a helicopter.
"It just shows that he's got heart," said Gresham. "It shows that he would do anything for this team to win. From a players' point of view, it's great to see that heart in the quarterback."

Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box reportedly suffered an MCL tear and could be out for six weeks...Iglesias had eight catches for 86 yards, while Bryant had nine receptions for 91 yards...Robinson also had 90 yards rushing...Kendall Hunter carried the ball 18 times for 84 yards for OSU, while Murray totaled 73 yards on the ground...Bryant's two touchdown receptions give him 18 on the season, which is a new OSU single-season record. It breaks Rashaun Woods previous mark of 17, which came in 2002.
