Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - Al Horford scored 19 points, including the go-ahead three-point-play with 12.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter, to lead the Atlanta Hawks in a 102-98 victory over the lowly Washington Wizards.

Horford also hauled in 13 rebounds and dished out six assists for the Hawks, who have won four of their last six games. Maurice Evans had 19 points and nine boards, while Mike Bibby ended with 21 points and six helpers. Joe Johnson and Marvin Williams had 18 and 14 points, respectively.

Antawn Jamison dropped a game-high 26 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and made five assists for the Wizards, who have dropped two straight and seven of eight overall. Caron Butler chipped in 21 points and 10 boards.

Down by seven late in the fourth, Butler's three-point play sparked a 7-0 Wizards run that tied the game at 89.

Horford hit a pair from the foul line and Evans was fouled on a layup, converting the three-point play at 3:31 to make it 94-89 in favor of the visitors.

Jamison hit a jumper and Butler hit a three-pointer, which was originally ruled a two-pointer, but an official review showed both of Butler's feet were behind the line and it was changed, with 1:10 left to tie it up at 98.

Both teams turned the ball over on their next respective possessions.

The Hawks came down, worked it around and Williams drove the baseline and dished to Horford, who connected on a drop-in and was fouled by Butler. He hit at the charity stripe to make it 101-98 with 12.4 ticks left.

Off the inbounds, the ball was worked around and DeShawn Stevenson drove the lane and was fouled. He missed both shots and Darius Songailia was forced to foul Evans, who grabbed the rebound. He hit 1-of-2 to make it a four-point game and the Wizards took over with 5.1 seconds left.

Butler attempted a desperation three but it caromed off the rim, ending the game.

Bibby's jumper capped a 13-4 Atlanta run which opened the game, and the Hawks led 28-17 after the first quarter. Atlanta then led 55-45 at the break.

Five points from Horford and a jumper from Williams to start the second half put the Hawks up 62-45 early in the third.

Atlanta's lead hovered in the mid-teens for most of the third stanza, but a late 10-2 flurry brought the Wizards within seven points. However, Johnson had a bucket with just under 40 ticks left and it was 80-71 heading into the final 12 minutes.
