Edmonton, AB (My Sportsbook) - Anze Kopitar and Patrick O'Sullivan both posted a goal and an assist, lifting the Los Angeles Kings to a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place.

Jason LaBarbera stopped 22 shots, including all seven he faced in the third period, for the Kings, who won for just the second time in their last six games.

"We all knew we had to come out and play with a lot of energy and I think we did," Kopitar said. "Giving up one goal on the road was pretty good. It was a big game for us and it put us back on track and we got to keep playing like that."

Ales Hemsky found the back of the net and Dwayne Roloson made 27 saves for Edmonton, which lost for the fifth time in six games.

Los Angeles opened the scoring 5:58 into the contest. Kopitar let go a shot from the slot and Roloson made the save with the left pad. O'Sullivan, though, followed up the play and banged home the rebound.

Hemsky evened the score with 9:10 remaining in the first period. Edmonton won a battle for the puck along the left boards and Dustin Penner drove to the net, drawing a pair of Kings defenders, before slipping a backhand feed to the side of the net that Hemsky punched in.

The Kings reclaimed the lead with 6:09 to go in the middle stanza. O'Sullivan made a centering feed from the near corner to Kopitar in front of the net and he slammed it out of the air past Roloson.
