Hannover, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Germany and Hannover goalie Robert Enke is hopeful of being back in action early on in the New Year. The 31-year-old has been out of action since October after sustaining a broken hand while on international duty, but is hoping to regain his place for club and country within a matter of months. "The next international game is in February and I don't know if I will be ready for that, but I certainly hope so," he told German TV. "I expect to be playing again from the first game of the second half of the season and, if that is the case, then my aim must be to get back into the Germany squad. "Unfortunately, this injury has set me back a bit and that is a shame, but I cannot change anything about it. "I believe the Germany coach still has me in mind and I want to prove to him in training and Bundesliga matches that it is hard to leave me out." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
