New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - With a desire to pitch for a 15th season, Andy Pettitte filed for free agency and was the lone player to do so on Sunday. The veteran left-hander compiled 14 wins and lost a career-high 14 games with a 4.54 earned run average in 33 starts last year for the Yankees, who, at 89-73, finished third in the AL East and missed the playoffs for the first time since 1993. Pettitte, 36, has a career record of 215-127 with a 3.89 ERA over 11 seasons with the Yankees and three with the Houston Astros.
