Winnipeg, MB (My Sportsbook) - A.J. Harris scored a pair of touchdowns and Fred Perry added a 31-yard interception for a touchdown as Edmonton rallied past Winnipeg, 29-21, in the East Division semifinal at Canad Inns Stadium.
Ricky Ray completed 27-of-37 passes for 303 yards for the Eskimos (11-8), who advance to the East final against the Alouettes in Montreal next Saturday.
Kelly Campbell recorded five receptions for 111 yards.
Kevin Glenn completed only 15-of-34 passes for 233 yards, one TD and one interception for the Bombers (8-11), who finished their season by seeing their two-game win streak halted.
Romby Bryant hauled in three balls for 104 yards and a score and Jason Armstead set a franchise record with a 93-yard punt return in defeat.
After Edmonton crept within 15-13 on a Noel Prefontaine field goal, Glenn had a pass tipped and Perry rolled untouched into the end zone for a 31-yard TD and a 20-15 score with 2:19 left before the half.
Prefontaine then missed a 50-yarder but the single put the visitors up by six, a lead they took to halftime.
The Eskimos kicker failed on a 53-yard attempt to start the second half for a 22-15 advantage, and Harris rolled in from the three with 5:45 left in the third to go up 29-15.
From there, the contest became sloppy on both sides due to the wind and icy field with possession changing on a pair of fumbles.
Alexis Serna managed to make a 38-yarder with 6:47 to play in the fourth to bring the Bombers within 11 points, then hit from 43 yards out to make it an eight point contest with just over three minutes to play.
Unfortunately for the home team, Winnipeg's final two drives failed to reach midfield and Edmonton skated away with the victory.
Serna's 47-yard single got the Bombers going and a 78-yard connection from Glenn to Bryant made it 8-0. Prefontaine booted a 23-yarder and the Esks were within five after one.
A Harris one-yard run gave Edmonton the 10-8 edge, but Armstead's long punt return for a touchdown put Winnipeg up 15-10. Edmonton countered on a 28- yard make by Prefontaine on the next drive for a two-point contest. That score foreshadowed the Eskimos' comeback.
