(My Sportsbook) - The Washington Wizards are still in search of their first win of the 2008-09 season and will take on the New York Knicks tonight at the Verizon Center. Washington fell to 0-3 after Wednesday's 112-104 overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center, as Caron Butler scored a team-high 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting and Antawn Jamison added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Young contributed 14 points for the Wizards, who shot 43.6 percent from the floor and went 0-2 on a brief two-game road trip. In injury news for the Wizards, center Etan Thomas is questionable for Friday's game against New York because of a sprained left ankle. The Knicks are 2-2 so far in the Mark D'Antoni era and posted a 101-98 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. Zach Randolph had a game-high 25 points and added 13 rebounds to spoil Charlotte coach Larry Brown's first game in New York since leaving the team following the 2005-06 season. Brown left the team amid controversy surrounding disgruntled guard Stephon Marbury and Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan. Brown was hired by the Knicks after helping Detroit to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances and one championship. New York went 23-59 in Brown's only season. Nate Robinson chipped in 24 points for the Knicks, who snapped a two-game skid. Wilson Chandler netted 18 points and Jamal Crawford had 16 in the win. New York went 2-1 against Washington last season and has won three of the last four meetings. The Knicks have dropped five of their last seven trips to D.C.
