Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - Toronto Argonauts quarterback Kerry Joseph, Siddeeq Shabazz and Kamau Peterson of the Edmonton Eskimos and kicker Alexis Serna of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers took home weekly honors for the top players in the CFL for Week 19. Joseph was awarded offensive honors as he completed 25-of-38 passes for 307 yards and five touchdowns during Toronto's 45-38 loss to his former club, the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He received his second player of the week award this season. Shabazz earned the defensive nod by registering eight tackles, a pair of sacks and a forced fumble in Edmonton's 37-14 home victory over the Montreal Alouettes. It is his first weekly honor this season. Serna took home the special teams award for his work in Winnipeg's 44-30 win over Hamilton. He made all four of his field goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries. The top Canadian player for the week was Edmonton's Peterson, who received this honor for the second time this season. He finished with a a league-high 10 receptions for 108 yards during Edmonton's victory.
