East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New York Giants wide receivers Ron Dixon and Tim Carter suffered injuries in Sunday's 27-20 win at Minnesota, leaving the team with just two healthy wideouts available. Two weeks after losing Ike Hilliard to a season-ending shoulder injury, Dixon suffered a sprained knee ligament and Carter tore his Achilles' tendon. Dixon is expected to miss two weeks, while Carter will be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Dixon recorded the first 100-yard performance of his career, with four receptions for 107 yards against Minnesota. He has 17 catches for 284 yards and a touchdown this season. Carter had just two catches for 37 yards this season, and was held without a catch against the Vikings. Only Amani Toomer and rookie Daryl Jones remain healthy for the Giants, who host Washington next Sunday. New York improved to 5-4 on the season with its victory over the Vikings, and trails first-place Philadelphia by one game in the NFC East.
