Nijmegen, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - NEC moved into the top five in the Eredivisie table on Sunday as they scored two goals in the last seven minutes to beat Vitesse, 3-1 at De Goffert. The visitors grabbed the lead 17 minutes into the match as Nicky Hofs played a nice one-two with Ricky van Wolfswinkel before slotting past NEC goalkeeper Gabor Babos. The lead stood up into the second half, but NEC was level four minutes after the restart when Arek Radomski struck a thunderous volley from outside the area which took a slight deflection on its way into the net. The score remained even until the 83rd minute, when Vitesse defender Sebastien Sansoni was called for a foul inside the area on NEC's Saidi Ntibazonkiza, allowing Youssef El Akchaoui to step to the spot and send his spot kick past goalkeeper Piet Velthuizen and into the left corner. Vitesse almost found a 90th-minute equalizer as Julian Jenner was denied on a great stop by Babos, but the hosts hit back with a third goal that put the game away as Rachid Bouaouzan set up Ntibazonkiza for an easy tap in. The result leaves Vitesse winless in six games, while NEC owns 11 points from six matches. AZ Alkmaar jumped into third place with a 2-0 win over Graafschap as Mounir El Hamdaoui scored a goal in each half, Charles Dissels scored 18 minutes into Sparta's 1-0 win over Utrecht and Willem II handed Feyenoord its fourth loss in six games as Frank Demouge tallied the lone goal in the first half.
