Martinsville, VA (My Sportsbook) - Johnny Benson won Saturday's Kroger 200 Craftsman Truck Series at the Martinsville Speedway. The No.23 Toyota driver grabbed the lead from Ron Hornaday, Jr. on Lap 154 and then held it for the final 46 laps. The victory was Benson's sixth of the season and the 14th of his Truck Series career. He also reclaimed the lead in the championship standings, 65 points ahead of Hornaday. Dennis Setzer finished second, and Rick Crawford was third. Kyle Busch and Todd Bodine rounded out the top-five. More details to follow. |
