Ajax dealt Groningen its first loss of the season as Oleguer scored the lone goal in the 37th minute of a 1-0 win, Arnar Smarason scored with three minutes to play to give Heerenveen a 2-2 draw with Roda, while Twente moved into the top five by beating Heracles 2-0 on goals from Marko Arnautovic and Eljero Elia in the last 10 minutes.
