Louisville, KY (My Sportsbook) - University of Louisville senior forward Terrence Williams will be sidelined four-to-six weeks after suffering a knee injury in a pickup game. Williams had an MRI exam which revealed a meniscus tear in his right knee. He will undergo surgery in the coming days. "I'm ecstatic that it's not an ACL tear, which was first feared," said Louisville head coach Rick Pitino. "He'll be out only a short period of time and we know he'll come back as good as new. We're totally relieved." Williams averaged 11.1 points as a junior and was among the Big East leaders with averages of 7.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 35.9 minutes played per game. The two-time All-Big East selection also notched a pair of triple-double performances last season.
