Champaign, IL (My Sportsbook) - Chicago Bears quarterback Chris Chandler sprained his neck in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the New England Patriots and had to leave the contest. Chandler, playing in place of Jim Miller, was injured with 8:08 to play in the second quarter as he plunged for a first down on fourth-and-one from the Bears' 41-yard-line. He was replaced by Miller, who returned to the starting lineup last week in Chicago's 19-13 loss to Philadelphia. Miller had sat out Friday's practice, however, after experiencing swelling and pain due to a flare-up of tendinitis in his right elbow. Entering the game, Chandler had thrown for a combined 339 yards on 31-of-50 passing with two touchdowns and two interceptions in losses to Detroit and Minnesota, while Miller had completed 57.7 percent of his passes for 1,422 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions in six games for the Bears. Chicago was 2-6 entering Sunday's contest.
