Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - The Milwaukee Brewers activated pitcher Yovani Gallardo and infielder Russell Branyan from the 15-day disabled Tuesday. Gallardo has been out since May 2 with a torn ACL in his right knee. In three starts this season, the 22-year-old has posted a 1.80 earned run average. He was 9-5 with a 3.67 ERA in 20 games with the Brewers last season as a rookie. Branyan hasn't played since August 10 because of a right oblique strain. In 48 games with the Brewers this season, he has batted .252 with 12 home runs and 20 runs driven in. |
