Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Tigers have recalled right-handed pitcher Chris Lambert and lefty Clay Rapada from Triple-A Toledo and purchased the contracts of catcher Dusty Ryan and infielder Mike Hessman from Toledo on Tuesday. Lambert made his second major league start and took a no-decision in Tuesday's 5-4 setback to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim after giving up three runs on six hits with two walks in four innings of work. Rapada has posted a 2-0 record with a 4.30 ERA in 15 games with Detroit. Hessman has 27 hits in 141 at-bats with eight homers and 20 RBI and played third base in the eighth inning Tuesday's defeat, but did not get an at-bat as Jeff Larish pinch-hit for him in the ninth. Ryan has yet to make his major league debut. The club also transferred righty Jeremy Bonderman and catcher Vance Wilson from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list.
