Almelo, Netherlands (My Sportsbook) - After watching Ajax get knocked off at Willem II on Saturday, Feyenoord suffered a surprising defeat of their own as they dropped a 3-1 contest to Heracles on Sunday. The match couldn't have started any better for Feyenoord as Andre Bahia gave them the lead just 47 seconds into the match, however, Jonathan de Guzman was sent off in the 30th minute for an elbow and Heracles leveled the match before halftime through Darl Douglas, who was the recipient of a nice pass from Ragnar Klavan. Klavan then put Heracles in front on the hour mark before Karim Bridji put the result away in the 90th minute with a goal of his own. Heerenveen downed promoted Volendam 3-2 despite a pair of goals from Jack Tuyp, Den Haag made a successful return to the Eredivisie by beating Sparta 5-2 as they got two goals from Richard Knopper and NAC beat AZ Alkmaar 2-1 behind two goals from Matthew Amoah.
