St. Petersburg, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Baltimore Orioles have sent starting pitcher Radhames Liz to Triple-A Norfolk, but intend to bring back the right- hander in time to start Tuesday's game at Boston. Liz is 5-3 with a 6.95 ERA in 12 starts with the Orioles this year. The Orioles used the extra spot on the roster to recall infielder Oscar Salazar from Norfolk. He was recently named to the International League All- Star team after batting .316 with 13 home runs and 85 RBI for the Tides. Earlier this year, Salazar batted .235 with two home runs and four RBI in nine games with the Orioles. |
