Foxboro, MA (My Sportsbook) - New England Patriots running back Kevin Faulk has been suspended one game for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. Faulk will miss the team's season opener, set for next Sunday at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 32-year-old Faulk was charged with marijuana possession after he was found in February with four hand-rolled cigars filled with the substance while at a concert in his home state of Louisiana. In July, he pleaded no contest to the charge of misdemeanor marijuana possession and was given a year probation. Last season, Faulk ran for 265 yards on 62 carries and also caught 47 passes for 383 yards and a touchdown.
