Ashburn, VA (My Sportsbook) - Washington Redskins running back Stephen Davis did not practice on Thursday and is expected to miss his second straight game with a sprained right knee, head coach Steve Spurrier said Friday. If Davis cannot play, Kenny Watson is expected to get the start against Jacksonville on Sunday. Watson played very well last Sunday versus Seattle, as he gained a career-high 110 yards on 23 carries and also caught four passes for 42 yards. Rookie Ladell Betts, who gained 37 yards on five carries against the Seahawks, would back up Watson. Davis has not played since he suffered the injury two weeks ago against Indianapolis. He had 80 yards on 16 carries against the Colts, and still leads the Redskins with 528 rushing yards this season. Spurrier said that he will wait until this weekend to make an official decision on Davis. The team will keep all six of its wide receivers active if Davis does not play. Meanwhile, Spurrier said that wide receiver Willie Jackson, who signed with Washington last week, will see more opportunities on offense this Sunday. Jackson played on special teams against Seattle but did not see any time with the offense.
