Inverness, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Richard Offiong's goal in first-half stoppage time allowed newly-promoted Hamilton to continue its dream start to the Scottish Premier League season as the team slipped past Inverness, 1-0 on Saturday. The goal came just before the halftime whistle when Offiong took on Inverness defender Jamie Duff and found himself in on goal. He then calmly slotted his shot past goalkeeper Michael Fraser to give his side a perfect six points from two matches. Hamilton began its campaign with a 3-1 win over Dundee United on Monday, and they now sit atop the SPL standings after two games. They will go for a third straight win next weekend at Kilmarnock. Rangers has also won its first two matches of the season after Kyle Lafferty and Kris Boyd found the net for Gers in a 2-0 win over Hearts. Lafferty fired Rangers ahead in the 37th minute after a cross from Madjid Bougherra, and Hearts was reduced to 10 men in the 74th when Saulius Mikoliunas was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Boyd then converted from the penalty spot in the 90th minute to secure the maximum points. Hibernian won an entertaining contest against Falkirk in 3-2 fashion at Easter Road Stadium, giving Hibs its first points of the season. Colin Nish scored two goals in the opening 25 minutes for Hibernian, and the team held on for the win despite two goals from Falkirk's Michael Higdon. Charlie Mulgrew helped Aberdeen secure a 1-0 win against Motherwell with a fantastic effort from 25 yards in the 86th minute to give the Dons their first win, while St. Mirren finished in a 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock.
