Aberdeen, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Aberdeen has finally completed the signing of Darlington striker Tommy Wright on a three-year contract. The 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Pittodrie, having seen the move held up in recent weeks due to an injury. Wright started his career with Leicester City, spending loan spells at Brentford and Blackpool during his time with the Foxes. He joined Barnsley in January 2006, but failed to make an impact at Oakwell and moved on to link up with the Quakers a year later, having been loaned out to Walsall by the Tykes. At Darlo, Wright scored 19 times in 58 appearances, helping the club secure a play-off place in League Two last season. (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
