Edinburgh, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Former Gretna midfielder Fabian Yantorno has signed a two-year contract with Hibernian after successfully overcoming a serious knee injury. The 25-year-old Uruguayan impressed during the first half of last season with his former club, before suffering an injury in January which eventually led to his release in March as Gretna's financial crisis began to bite. However, he has now proved his fitness at Easter Road and has impressed manager Mixu Paatelainen in the process. The Finn told the club's official website: "Fabian is a technically gifted player with good game awareness. "He is an exciting footballer and we look forward to him giving his best in the coming weeks as he becomes fully match-fit." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
