Edinburgh, Scotland (My Sportsbook) - Hibernian has snapped up former Chelsea trainee Joe Keenan on a two-year deal and Steven Thicot on a three-year contract. Keenan has played for Brentford and Willem II Tilburg since leaving Stamford Bridge while 21-year-old Thicot has most recently been with Nantes and Sedan. "Both players will I'm sure prove to be excellent additions to our squad," Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen told the club's official website. "Joe's done very well since coming to us on trial and has impressed both in training and in games. "Steven's a young player who shows a great deal of maturity and a fantastic approach to the game. "He's a very good player who can play in a number of positions and has come through all the French national teams alongside some of the top players in the world. He has plenty of ability and, like Joe, is a very ambitious footballer, which is something I like to see." (Courtesy of sportbox.tv)
