Lisbon, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - Benfica defender Jose Fonte has finally completed his permanent switch to Crystal Palace. The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Selhurst Park, has penned a three-year contract with the Eagles. Fonte, who played 26 games for Neil Warnock's side last term, told the Croydon Advertiser: "My wish was always to stay at Palace. I've made great friends here and I get along with everyone at the club. "I love the club so it's good to be back here, I'm very happy." |
