Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Houston Rockets on Tuesday activated forward/center Kelvin Cato from the injured list and waived forward Charles Oakley. Cato has missed the last 10 contests with a left shoulder sprain. In 65 games this season, including 64 starts, he has averaged 6.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing. Oakley signed the first of two 10-day contracts with the Rockets on March 18 and played in seven games for Houston, averaging 1.3 points and 0.7 boards per contest. In 1,282 career games with Chicago, New York, Toronto, the Wizards and Houston, Oakley has averaged 9.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per outing. |
