Dallas, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Dallas Mavericks continue to jockey for position in the Western Conference playoff race, as they welcome Seattle SuperSonics tonight to American Airlines Center. Dallas is in sixth place in the Western Conference, a half-game behind the fifth- place Memphis Grizzlies. The Mavs have played one less game then the Grizzlies. This is the third meeting of the season between the two clubs. Dallas has won the two previous contests. The teams will play again on April 10th at KeyArena. The Mavericks come into tonight's contest on a four-game winning streak. On Saturday, Dirk Nowitzki scored a game-high 34 points and Antawn Jamison added 22 to lead Dallas to a 124-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns in front of its home crowd. Michael Finley contributed 20 points for the Mavericks in the victory. Finley has scored in double digits in 34 of his last 36 games. Dallas is 11-3 in Tuesday games this season. The Mavericks are a league-best 33-5 as the host. Seattle picked up a 96-88 win over the New Orleans Hornets at KeyArena on Sunday. Ray Allen poured in a game-high 25 points to pace the Sonics to the win. Brent Barry and Rashard Lewis each chipped in 14 points in the win for the Sonics, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Barry added nine rebounds and Lewis grabbed seven. Ronald Murray and Calvin Booth each netted 12 points for Seattle. The Sonics are 4-13 in Tuesday games this season. Seattle is just 15-23 on the road. The Mavericks have won three straight in this series. The SuperSonics have lost four straight and five of their last six at Dallas.
