(My Sportsbook) - The Memphis Grizzlies suffered their second consecutive loss on Monday, as they dropped a 92-81 decision to the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.

James Posey scored 18 points to lead the Grizzlies, whose current slide comes on the heels of a seven-game winning streak. Memphis, which has already secured its first ever playoff berth, also needs one more victory to reach the 50- win mark for the first time in franchise history.

Memphis is fifth in the West,a half-game in front of the Dallas Mavericks and three games back of the third place San Antonio Spurs.

The contest was tied at halftime, but a field goal by Andrei Kirilenko to begin the second half gave the Utah a lead it would not relinquish. The basket ignited a six-point spurt to give the Jazz a 53-47 edge.

A basket by Carlos Arroyo gave Utah a 59-50 lead midway through the third. The lead would remain nine, 70-61, heading into the fourth quarter.

Memphis got within six, 80-74, with 3:43 left, but the Jazz scored six straight points to regain control and coasted to the 11-point win.

The Grizzlies, who lost for the fifth time in 14 Monday games this season, have just three losses over their previous 10 road tilts and are 19-19 away from home this season.

The Grizzlies, who dropped to a dismal 2-15 all-time in Salt Lake City, return to action on Wednesday when they host rookie phenom LeBron James and the playoff-hopeful Cleveland Cavaliers.
