Washington, D.C. (My Sportsbook) - D.C. United acquired the rights to former San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Joe Vide on Wednesday, Vide, 23, was waived by San Jose on July 14. He made five appearances for the Earthquakes, including two starts, this season. He was originally drafted fifth overall in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft by New York. He made seven first team appearances in his rookie year and played in 16 games, including 13 starts, for the Red Bulls in 2007. |
